My client is a cutting-edge AI-driven Fintech company that connects to various financial institutions and exchanges. They are actively seeking a Vp of Engineering to join their HK team.

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop a high-frequency trading platform for different asset management products such as market data handler, exchange connectivity, option price, and algorithmic quoting logic
• Development of capabilities such as market gateways and direct market access
• Work on ways to automate and optimize the release process
• Being involved in project management such as deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations.
• Works well in a remote/hybrid team with fluid, project-based roles and demonstrates enthusiasm for learning the latest technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related Engineering discipline
• Experience in designing and delivering API connectivity and FIX protocol solutions in the finance industry is a big plus
• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals such as framework design, network programming, and multi-threading techniques
• Proficient in either C++ or C# or Java or Python; frontend tools are a plus
• Good to have a leadership mindset or management experience
