Our client is an international quant trading company specializing in automated trading of traditional assets and they’re looking for an experienced System Engineer/ Support Engineer to join their team:

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main contact of the user/desktop support
• Manage the server across multiple data centers and host the configuration
• Deploy monitoring and automating scripts
• Perform database administration duties and storage-related tasks
• Work with brokers and exchanges on exchange access
• Report issues to service providers

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of related working experience
• Trading/ financial service background is an advantage
• Experienced in Linux systems and the mainstream clouds (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of internet protocols such as DNS/ LDAP/ SMB/ NFS/ SMTP and Apache
• Knowledge of enterprise storage such as DAS/ NAS/ SAN
• Capable of one or more of the following scripting languages: BASH, Perl, Python, Ruby
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
