Our client is a multinational firm seeking experienced talent to join their regional team to assist with overall communications and events.
Responsibilities:
- Set the overall direction and strategy for the company’s corporate communications, aligning with brand-building efforts.
- Lead crisis communications and oversee issues management to effectively manage and mitigate perception risks.
- Manage outreach campaigns and external communication engagement, focusing on the management team, culture, leaders, and journalists.
- Oversee media relations to increase “earned media” share in Hong Kong and key overseas markets.
- Provide communications support for major events and experiences.
- Manage the PR Blog and leverage publicity opportunities on social platforms.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in public and corporate communications, preferably in technology, media, FMCG, PR agency, or listed companies.
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Language, or related disciplines. A master’s degree is advantageous.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to think independently and strategically.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with matrix structures, managing multiple stakeholders, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong network of media and industry contacts in Hong Kong and the region, along with knowledge of top-tier conferences and speaking engagements.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis management within a fast-moving environment.
- Digital-savvy, with hands-on experience using social media platforms for public relations purposes.
