Quant Analysis (Singapore based)

As a Quantitative Analyst within the trading team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing cutting-edge trading strategies, utilising advanced mathematical models and data analysis techniques.


  • Conduct quantitative research and analysis to identify potential trading opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, commodities, and derivatives.
  • Develop, validate, and refine mathematical models and trading algorithms to optimise trading strategies and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide quantitative solutions to enhance trading effectiveness.
  • Utilise statistical and econometric techniques to analyse market data, identify patterns, and forecast market movements.
  • Perform risk analysis and develop risk management tools to mitigate potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and emerging technologies in quantitative finance to continuously improve trading strategies and methodologies.

Ideal skill sets:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis tools, libraries, and statistical techniques.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and market microstructure.
  • Experience with data analysis, modeling, and simulation techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with different teams.
