Our client is a fintech startup with energetic teams across the APAC region and they’re looking for an experienced Head of Engineer to thrive with them.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach software engineers and designers in various locations to develop and maintain the company’s platforms
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver products with a user-centric and customer success mindset
• Recruit and retain engineering talents. Maintain the positive team atmosphere
• Review the latest technology market trends to ensure the company’s best practice of software development
• Work closely with executives to plan and execute the company’s strategies to achieve business goals

Requirements

• Solid working and engineering team-leading experience
• Knowledgeable in cloud-based systems
• Experience in large-scale startups or tech centers of international firms. Fintech, payment gateway and/or related fields is an advantage
• Good at working with teammates from different locations and cultures
• Proven ability to recruit and retain team members, empowering and developing colleagues to thrive in the team
• Excellent leadership, communication and strategic thinking skills
• Fluent in English is a must. Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus
