Responsibilities

• Physical Power Trading/Forecasting/Scheduling – perform activities related to price forecasting, scheduling and nominating energy flows in the Day Ahead and Real Time power markets
• Fundamental Market Analysis
• Maintain and improve systems, models and forecasting tools
• Purchase and sell power and associated commodities
• Settlement and trade/hedge analysis
• Regulatory – develop and maintain an understanding of rules and developments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant trading experience required
• Minimum of two years of energy trading experience
• Excellent analytical skills
• Willingness to assume and manage risk
• Strong Excel and quantitative skills
• Programming skills such as Python are a plus
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
